Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2024 Sailor SSR, MR Vacancy Notification

Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR/MR) Posts: The Indian Navy has released a notification as part of the Agneepath scheme introduced by the central government. This notification announces the recruitment of Agniveer vacancies in the Indian Navy. Available posts are Sailor SSR, Chef, Steward, and Hygenists. These vacancies will be filled through the 02/2024 batch, and selected candidates will undergo training at INS Chilka. The application process is scheduled to commence from May 13. Unmarried male and female candidates who have passed 10th or intermediate or diploma can apply online.

Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR, MR) Recruitment 2024: Notification, Eligibility, and Application Process

Vacancy Details:

• Designation: Agniveer Sailor (Senior Secondary Recruitment - SSR)
• Designation: Agniveer Sailor MR (Chef, Steward, Hygienist)

Indian Navy Agniveer Eligibility:

For Agniveer Sailor Posts-Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent, or possess a two-year vocational course or engineering diploma with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects, with at least 50% marks.

For Agniveer MR-10th Pass qualification required

Indian Navy Agniveer Age Limit:

Candidates should be born between 01.11.2003 and 30.04.2007. Only unmarried individuals are eligible to apply.

Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:

• Shortlisting of applications
• Stage-I: Indian Navy Entrance Test
• Stage-II: Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and medical examination

Indian Navy Agniveer Training:

Course training for selected candidates will commence in November at INS Chilka, Odisha. Upon successful completion, candidates will be assigned duties in their respective departments.

Indian Navy Agniveer Salary Structure:

Selected candidates will receive:

• First year: Rs 30,000
• Second year: Rs 33,000
• Third year: Rs 36,500
• Fourth year: Rs 40,000

Indian Navy Agniveer Sailor Computer Based Test (CBT) Pattern:

• 100 multiple choice questions in Hindi/English languages, each carrying 1 mark
• Sections: English, Science, Mathematics, General Awareness
• Duration: One hour
• Negative marking: Four wrong answers will result in a deduction of one mark.

Indian Navy Agniveer MR Exam Syllabus Pattern:

Agniveer MR Exam will be conducted for 50 marks.

Total 50 questions will be given. 

1. Mathematics & Science-25 Marks

Indian Navy Agniveer Physical Test Details:

Minimum height is 157 cms.

For Male:

1. 1600 meters running to be completed in 6 min 30 seconds
2. 12 push ups
3. 20 squats

For Female:

1. 1600 meters running to be completed in 8 minutes
2. 10 sit ups
3. 15 squats
