The Social Welfare Department, Government of Telangana, invites online applications for admissions into 5th Class for the academic year 2024-25 in the following residential institutions:
TGCET 2024 Important Dates:
- Applications Open : December 18, 2023
- Applications Close : January 20, 2024
- TGCET 2024 Entrance Exam Date : February 11, 2024 (11:00 AM - 01:00 PM)
- Result Declaration: February 25, 2024
5th Class Admission for the Gurukulam Schools of Telangana:
- Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (TSWREIS)
- Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (TTWREIS)
- Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (MJPTBCWREIS)
- Tribal Residential Educational Institutions (TREIS)
Educational Qualifications for TGCET 2024:
Students currently studying in 4th standard in recognized schools or residing in Telangana are eligible to apply.
TS TGCET 2024 Eligibility:
Applicants should be born between 01-06-2012 to 31-05-2013 (both dates inclusive).
Belong to SC, ST, BC or General category as per Government norms.
Studied in 4th Class in a Government/Aided/Recognized school during the academic year 2023-24.
TGCET 2024 Exam Syllabus Pattern:
Objective type written test conducted in Telugu/English medium.
Maximum marks: 100.
Subjects: Telugu/English (25 marks), Mathematics (25 marks), Mental Ability (10 marks), Environmental Studies (20 marks).
Based on syllabus of 4th Class.
TGCET 2024 Application Fee:
General Category: Rs. 100/-
SC, ST, BC Category: No fee
