Telangana TET Notification 2022: The Telangana government has released the notification for the teacher eligibility test (TET) to be conducted before the appointment of teachers. The online applications will be accepted from March 26 to April 12. The TS TET exam will be held on June 12. Recently, the government had announced that 13,086 posts will be filled up in the school education department. There are up to 10,000 teacher jobs. Out of these, there are up to 6,700 SGT jobs. If the vacancies of Adarsha Model schools are included, it can be as much as 11,000 posts. It seems that the Telangana TET can be conducted in the month of June 2022. This is the third time that TET exam has been conducted after the formation of the Telangana state. The TS TET exam was earlier conducted in May 2016 and July 2017.

Latest changes in Telangana Teachers Eligibility Test 2022:
So far, B.Ed candidates paper-2 was written in TET are eligible to teach classes 6-10 only. From now on, they can be appointed as SGTs to teach classes 1-5. This means that they can write paper-1 in TET. But, a six-month bridge course in primary education teaching should be completed within two years of joining the job. So far, only D.Ed candidates are eligible for paper-1.
Once you qualify in TET, the certificate has a tenure of seven years. after that it has no value. TET has to be written again. On the contrary, the NCTE had decided two years ago to change the value of the TET once it qualifies. The education department has made a change accordingly. The change will be applicable from February 11, 2011. The certificate of those who have qualified in the TET since then will still be valid. It is estimated that there will be around 3 lakh people who have already passed TET in the state.

Telangana TET 2022 Cutoff marks:
TET will be conducted for 150 marks.
- General category students will be considered eligible for 90 marks (60 per cent)
- BCs with 75 marks (50 per cent)
- SC, ST and PWD /divyang with 60 marks (40 per cent).
The marks obtained in tet will be given 20 per cent weightage for the exams conducted as part of teacher recruitment.

Telangana TET 2022 Eligibility:
Candidates who are qualified B.Ed or DEd or BPed or DPed or BElEd or Special B.Ed or its equivalent qualification having candidates are eligible to apply.
There is no age limit for TSTET Exam 2022.
For Paper 2 only Degree with B.Ed qualified candidates are eligible to apply.
For Paper 1 B.Ed or D.Ed or BElEd or DElEd or Special B.Ed qualified candidates are eligible to apply.
TS TET 2022 Application Fee:
Application fee is Rs.300/- for single paper.
Telangana TET 2022 Paper 1 Exam Pattern:
TS TET Paper 1 Exam will be conducted for 150 marks. Total 150 questions will be given and exam duration is 150 minutes.
